Aims
To help students develop an awareness of Britain's heritage as well as an understanding of the wider world, and to promote a greater understanding of the present by studying the past. Within their studies in history we aim to develop students' study skills and to encourage their critical analysis. We also hope to create an enthusiasm for this subject by investigating the past.

New History Mural
During Enrichment Week the History corridor was transformed from a run-of-the-mill school corridor to a walk through the ages of history. Year 9 GATE trip to Oxford University
Earlier in the term the Year 9 Gifted and Talented group spent the day at Wadham College, one of Oxford University’s oldest colleges dating from the early 1600s. The purpose of the visit was to show the students that Oxford University could be a possibility for their future studies.
